Asset management of Media3 closed joint-stock company and Adobe Systems Inc. concluded a unique corporate contract for supplying the Adobe Creative Suite software including Adobe InCopy text editor for further implementation in both central and regional editorial publishing system of the company. InDesign program will be used by designers as the main client software, InCopy program is intended for authors.

According to contract Media3 obtains the Adobe Creative Suite software package (which includes vector and dot graphics processing and page layout programs) and Adobe InCopy software for the editorial office of “Argumenty i Fakty”, “Trud”, “Extra M” and “Okruga” newspapers, Homepage.ru web portal and other on-line projects. This is one of the most significant transactions with Adobe Systems Inc in Russia.

Considering the size of the contract Adobe Systems Inc granted Media3 the unique discounts and payment schedule. In consequence of Media3 Adobe Systems Inc offered customers such flexible conditions for the first time. Terms of contract offered by Russian office of Adobe Systems Inc were approved by management of European office in Dublin (Ireland).

The corporate contract grants the usage of both current “Creative Suite 4” version (released on 24th September 2008) and “Creative Suite 2”. The conditions of treatment enable license transfer to all the Media3 sub-companies.

Due to that our editorial offices will obtain the indispensable software on very favorable terms,” Aleksander Strakhov the General Director of Media3 closed joint-stock company said.

“Licensing chart that we offered to Media3 company is absolutely unique for Adobe Systems Inc. This is the establishing precedent for our company in Russia. We understand the demands of our key accounts and ready to grant them special charts and software purchase conditions. The contract with Adobe company provides Media3 the possibility to use ultimate function package available only to the licensed software users, to get customer and consulting service support. It will give Media3 the unprecedented possibility to implement editorial publishing “Prestige” system by “ATEX” in Russia for the first time. “Prestige” system allows to organize the content creating process more efficiently and to distribute it by different information mediums, to plan the editorial office work, to accumulate all the necessary resources for the programs implementation and evaluation of editorial work. The system allows managers to monitor the process of news-paper creation in real-time mode and to make prompt decisions.
